Research

(1) Research of GABA and Glutamate mediated cerebellar development and analysis of these released patterns
Glutamate and GABA are known to play important roles as modulators in the survival and development of cerebellar neurons. We have developed an enzyme-linked real-time assay system of released glutamate and GABA.
(2) Observation for developing cerebellar cortex by acoustic impedance microscope
In cerebellar development, granule cells migrate with elongation of parallel fibers, and form neuronal circuit in molecular layer. An acoustic impedance microscopy was useful for observation of circuit structure of no treated developing cerebellums with no invasion.
